Rivendell has been awarded a Platinum EcoVadis rating, placing us in the top 1% of over 150,000 businesses assessed globally for sustainability. To our knowledge, we are the only UK-based graphic services provider to achieve this level of recognition.
The EcoVadis assessment rigorously evaluates us across 21 criteria grouped under environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. These align with international standards including the UN Global Compact and ISO 26000. Achieving platinum status validates our leadership in sustainability and gives our customers confidence in our ethical and environmental practices.
Our comprehensive end to end pre-press service offering includes Creative, Photography, Artwork & Brand Management and Print & Colour, alongside producing over 60,000 square metres of flexographic and corrugate printing plates annually. What sets us apart is our control over both the design phase – focusing on recyclability and sustainability – and the downstream management of printing plates. This dual capability enables us to advise customers on material choices, ink technologies, print processes, and end-of-life considerations, helping them to make packaging choices that align with a circular economy.
