Overview

Working on over 120 SKUs, 2023 saw the redesign of Asda’s own brand pet ranges; Hero and Tiger. This covered a variety of products and substrates from paper dry food bags, milk cartons, can labels and food pouches.
By collaborating with the Asda print team, Rivendell carried out pre-art colour work to ensure the best colours possible were used for the chosen substrate, as well as looking at the images supplied and figuring out a way to grip the soft fur of the animals into spot colours without giving a hard, sharp edge.

The Result

The eye catching, bright design was a result of working closely with the design agency and print manager to create vibrant colours that translated correctly onto different substrates.
Rivendell applied legal and creative copy, collated feedback from all stakeholders on the artwork approval system and repro’d all files, before sending out proofs for colour matching.
Resulting in a launch event hosted by Asda, it was great to see everyone’s hard work come to fruition and be so well received.
