Rivendell host print masterclass for leading ice cream brand Froneri
Work | 18 Nov 2021
As one of Rivendell’s leading clients, Froneri are the second largest manufacturer of ice cream and the number one private label producer worldwide. Rivendell have been working with Froneri for over 5 years, supporting high-profile brands such as Fab, Nestle Rowntrees, Cadbury Ice Cream, Nuii, Extrême and Kelly’s of Cornwall.
Given developments in print technology, we recently provided a bespoke print training event for Froneri with the aim of educating colleagues on different print mediums, processes and packaging suitability.
Hosted by print and colour expert, Andy Wilson, Coveris’ Colour Director and Chairman of Flexographic Industry Association UK (FIA UK), the training day set out to give brand management, specification, and process team members at Froneri an insight into the world of print.
At Rivendell, we can produce a variety of packaging through extensive expertise across different pack formats, and this knowledge allowed us to provide a well-rounded education on print awareness. From a brand’s point of view, this awareness of printability holds benefits such as improved brand management, increased consumer appeal and ensures colour consistency.
Taking a deep-dive into print technology, materials and processes, the day also included a review of packaging formats alongside their real-life print plates to demonstrate technology and our full end-to-end service, as well as a tour of Rivendell’s extensive facilities, including our Pack Positive Centre.
Leaving with a deeper understanding of print and the services available to them, the day proved beneficial for Froneri’s team who now have a greater knowledge of printability and creative possibility. Ensuring our clients understand the process at Rivendell is a key component of establishing strong relationships, which in turn, allows for improved time and cost efficiencies as printing capabilities are understood from the outset.
Bespoke training days are available to all clients and we invite colleagues from across the sector to take part in print and packaging education days to understand the possibilities available to them.
